I have been a bad blogger.... I know I promised to blog from England, but I didn't. I apologise... the last few weeks have been super busy. We are officially supposed to move from Virginia Beach, Virginia to Austin, Texas on the 9th of June.. but.. the Navy had other plans for us. They are unable to move us until the 23rd so here we are for a few more weeks. Needless to say, we have still been busy tying up loose ends and trying to get out of here when we wanted.. but, alas... we are here til the 23rd! Not that I mind, I love Virginia Beach, especially my friends and the gorgeous beaches. I think we are just ready to start our new life in Austin..
Anyways, enough of my ranting..!! I wanted to share with you a great competition that
Olioboard is holding. The idea is to create a Summer inspired room using a flooring product from "Quikstep." You can enter your design to win $2000 in Quikstep flooring! Imagining a new floor in the family room??? Then head over to Olioboard and knock up a competition winning design!! This is my design above, I was trying to create a Summer by the Lake feel with my room... I am happy with how it turned out. It feels pretty Summery to me!!
